The Sentinel Dual series is the new series of high power density double conversion online UPS and is suitable for powering a wide range of devices such as servers, storage systems, telephony - VoIP equipment, networks, medical systems as well as for industrial applications.

It is also ideal for powering and protecting Blade Server systems with high input power factor. At just 2U, the Sentinel Dual is ideal for installation in a 19″ rack cabinet. The Sentinel Dual has a practical, modern design and has several advantages over traditional on-line UPS.

It has been developed entirely by the Riello UPS R&D team. The newly designed inverter is one of the best energy conversion systems on the market, with a power factor of 0.9 output and an efficiency of 92% in on-line mode.

For professional applications that require continuity of electricity and need long autonomy times, the autonomy of the batteries can be extended up to several hours by using the ER models which are equipped with powerful battery chargers.

With energy conservation in mind, the Sentinel Dual series features a stop button to reduce power consumption to zero during periods of prolonged inactivity.

Easy installation

Low noise (Guaranteed operation up to 40 ° C (components are designed for high temperatures and therefore subject to less stress at normal temperatures)
On Sentinel Dual Series models, the outlet receptacles can be programmed to disconnect less critical loads during a power outage (EnergyShare outlets).
Flexible installation
The Sentinel Dual can be placed as a tower or rack, the screen rotates easily and you can place it in a vertical form (tower) with the provided bases.

Reduced operating costs
The UPS has particularly flexible and easy settings. Programmable functions can be set through the software or manually from the display panel. Sentinel Dual can be configured in the following modes:

On Line, maximum load protection and high quality output voltage waveform
ECO mode, to increase efficiency (up to 98%), uses Line Interactive technology
Smart Active, the UPS automatically selects the operating program according to the quality of the mains power supply
Emergency, the UPS only works when the mains voltage is interrupted (emergency mode)
Operation as a frequency converter (50 or 60 Hz).

The advanced communication platform is compatible with all operating systems and network environments: PowerShield3 monitoring and shutdown software for Windows 8, 7, Hyper-V, 2012, 2008, and earlier operating systems, Mac OS X, Linux, VMWare ESXi, Citrix XenServer and other Unix operating systems.
